Texas may be known as the state of oil and cattle, but its most significant natural resource is the water in the state’s aquifers, reservoirs, and rivers. Yet we tend to take this precious resource for granted, and we don’t always manage it responsibly or sustainably.
As people of faith, we understand water to be a gift, an essential part of God’s creation. With water, we live, work, and connect our lives to the holy. Without water, we perish.
